We would like to share with you and your friends about how BOLMM was birthed. Lewis went on a mission trip to Nicaragua in October of 2004. He came back a very different man than when he went. It was Brother Bruce Briggs who introduced Lewis to the opportunity to go on a mission trip (Brother Bruce has since gone to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus)
When Lewis came back he was so excited about his new journey and that excitement rubbed off on those around him. Since that first time we have gone on many others and would like to share some of the excitement with you.
On June 22nd, 2006, Lewis was driving southbound on Interstate 85 around 2:45 am when talking to the
Lord about his life and others lives when God spoke to him and said that He was about to birth within Lewis's heart a new
missions ministry. With tears rolling down his face and overwhelming of joy the Lord said "this will be called Bread of Life". From that here we are today and we are really excited what God is doing and is going to do with His Ministry for His glory.Our vision is to take the message of Jesus to the world, to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, encourage the downcast, heal the sick, to see the captive set free and to be busy building the Kingdom of God until Jesus returns.
